ANNIE NELL BECKLEY

Annie Nell Beckley was born April 12, 1953 to the late Laura and Walter Mayes in Pontotoc County. She departed this life on Sunday, January 5, 2020. She professed a hope in Christ and became a member of New Resident Baptist Church of Pontotoc, where she served on the Usher Board. Annie was a sweet and loving person. She loved being around her grandchildren and family. She also loved to fish.

Mrs. Annie leaves to cherish her memory, her husband: Bobby Beckley of forty-nine years; three daughters: Bobbie Nell Beckley of Tupelo, MS, Melanie (Sidney) Prude of Pontotoc, MS, and Barbara Ann (Chris) Beckley of Pontotoc, MS; one son Anthony (Latoshi) Beckley of Tupelo, MS; five sisters: Maxine (Robert) Beckley of Tupelo, MS, Essie (Larry) Gills, Walter Mae (Glen) Berry, Mable (Lee) Hamer, and Mary (Harvey) Mayes all of Pontotoc, MS; four brothers: Johnny (Shirley) Mayes of Blue Mountain, MS, David (Evelyn) Mayes of Calhoun, MS, Buster Mayes, and Q.C. Mayes of Pontotoc, MS; two brother in-laws: Charles (Ruby) Beckley of Shannon, MS and Roy Lee Beckley of Pontotoc, MS; one sister in-law Bertha Powell of Tupelo, MS; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Laura and Walter Mayes, grandparents Beulah and L.C. Stockard, one brother Harold Buford, and three sisters: Beulah Turner, Esther Perry, and Pearl Mae Mayes.

Funeral service will be on Friday, January 10, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Faith Tabernacle Full Gospel Church in Tupelo, MS. Viewing will be available one hour before service at the church.
