Mr. Cesar Samuel Castillo, 61 passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018, in Southaven, MS. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch (6815 Parkview Blvd. Olive Branch, MS 38654) followed by burial in DeSoto Memorial Gardens. Doors will open at 1:30 pm (per the family's request, guests are asked not to wear black). Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Castillo was born on November 27, 1956, in Chihuahua, MX. He immigrated to the United States as a very young man. His ambition and dedication allowed him to excel and achieve the American dream. Despite his lack of education, the Lord blessed him with his own construction company, which he led for over 30 years. His company’s success is accredited to his impeccable work ethic, integrity, responsibility, and dedication to excellence. Mr. Castillo was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He adored his wife Yolanda; she was his inspiration and motivation in life. He loved horses, drinking coffee at Coleman’s BBQ every morning with friends, and spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed hosting and cooking for his loved ones; he was an incredible cook. His hobbies included hunting, working on his trucks, and all things horses. Mr. Castillo was a generous man who always helped others in need. He acknowledged that all of his many blessings were from God and was very grateful for each one. He will be greatly be remembered as a man of honor and missed by his family, many close friends, and coworkers.

Mr. Castillo is survived by his wife, Yolanda Castillo; three daughters and son, Griselda Tello, Leslie (Alonso) Meraz, Liliana (Ernesto) Rodriguez, Cesar Castillo; two grandsons, Adan Tello and Alonso Meraz; two granddaughters, Analeigh Joy Rodriguez and Marisa Meraz; brother, Polo (Liz) Castillo; and sister, Raquel (Luis) Castillo.

Mr. Castillo was preceded in death by his daughter, Imelda Castillo; father, Roberto Jesus Castillo; and mother, Magdalena Castillo.

El servicio fúnebre será el jueves 23 de agosto del 2018 a las 2:00pm en Coleman Funeral Home (6815 Parkview Blvd. Olive Branch, MS 38654) followed by burial in DeSoto Memorial Gardens. El Sr. Castillo nació el 27 de noviembre del 1956 en Chihuahua, MX. Inmigro a los estados unidos de joven. Su ambición y dedicación le permitió avanzar y alcanzar el sueño americano. Su falta de educación no fue motivo de limitación; con la ayuda y bendición de Dios logro obtener su propia compañía de construcción la cual lidero por más de 30 años. El éxito de su compañía se le atribuye a su ética de trabajo impecable, integridad, responsabilidad y dedicación a la excelencia. El Sr. Castillo fue un esposo devoto, padre amoroso, y abuelo cariñoso. El adoraba a su esposa Yolanda; ella era su inspiración y motivación de vida. Amaba andar y cuidar de sus caballos, tomar café por las mañanas en el Coleman’s BBQ con sus amigos, y disfrutar tiempo con su familia. Le encantaba cocinarle a su familia y lo hacia muy bien. Sus pasatiempos incluían la cacería, comprar y arreglar trocas, y todo lo que tenia que ver con los caballos. El Sr. Castillo era un hombre generoso que siempre ayudaba a los necesitados. El reconocía que todas sus bendiciones venían de Dios y siempre le agradeció por cada una de ellas. El Sr. Castillo será recordado como un hombre de honor y extrañado por su familia, amigos cercanos, y compañeros de trabajo.

El Sr. Castillo es sobrevivido por su esposa, Yolanda Castillo; tres hijas y hijo, Griselda Tello, Leslie (Alonso) Meraz, Liliana (Ernesto) Rodríguez, Cesar Castillo; dos nietos, Adán Tello y Alonso Meraz; dos nietas, Analeigh Joy Rodríguez y Marisa Meraz; un hermano, Polo (Liz) Castillo; una hermana, Raquel (Luis) Castillo.

El Sr. Castillo fue precedido en la muerte por su hija, Imelda Castillo; padre Roberto Jesús Castillo; madre, Magdalena Castillo.
