Mrs. Mary Marie Pegues Martin transitioned on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital in Greenwood, MS. She was born on August 7, 1967 in Marshall County to the late Johnnie Ree Pegues and Woodrow Faulkner, Sr. She professed her hope in Christ at an early age at Kimbrough Chapel M.B. Church, with her mother.
She was a graduate of the class 1986 at Holly Springs High School. In 1988, Mary united in holy matrimony to Trent Martin and to this union, one son was born.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories her son: Zachary Martin of Memphis, TN; siblings: Rev. Clarence Moore of Los Angeles, CA, Wilma (Joshua) Brown of Columbus, OH, Woodrow (Sharon) Faulkner, Jr., Cathy (Willie) Reliford, Dorothy (Joseph) Walton, Carolyn (Henry) Smith, Charles Faulkner and Sandra Faulkner all of Holly Springs, Carol (Thelmon) Smith of Lamar, MS, Terry (Thelma) Faulkner of Forest, MS and Jacqueline Williams of Memphis, TN; sister-in-laws: Vivian Pegues, Andrea Pegues, Jessica Pegues and Marlean Jan Pegues; three aunts: Emma Jean Bowens and Alice (David) Huff both of Holly Springs and Cora Buckner of Jackson, MI, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother: Fannie Ratliffe; four brothers: Ceacer Pegues, Rev. Rueben Pegues. Clinton Moore and Jerry Faulkner, Sr.
