Barry Dwight Hathcock

1954 – 2020

Barry Dwight Hathcock passed away Saturday March 7, 2020 at UAB Hospital at the age of 65. He was born June 23, 1954 in Memphis, TN to Winnie Catherine Gore and the late James Reed Hathcock.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday March 11, 2020 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Kris Hollis and Rev. Roger Orman officiating. Visitation will be 11 AM-2 PM on Wednesday at the church. Burial will follow in Cedar Bluff Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Carter, Tim Golson, Rodney Johnson, David Orman, Tim Jones, Terry Jourdan, Charles Markle, James Watson.

He is survived by his wife, Olivia, Beth Hathcock of Macon; sons, Joshua Garner Hathcock (Crissy) of Houston; Jeremy Reed Hathcock of West Point; mother, Winnie Catherine Hathcock; brother, James D. Hathcock (Donna) of TN; sisters, Melinda Jean Erving (Randall) of TN, Mary Melissa Basham (Allen) of MO; 2 grandchildren, Carson James Hathcock, Ben Ssu-Chi Hathcock.
