Mrs. Tapp was born in Alcorn County on April 12, 1942 to the late Herbert and Myrtle Inman Frederick. She was a longtime member of Shiloh Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Amanda Null; grandson Daniel Tapp (Stephanie); and her great-grandchildren, Samantha Smith (Hunter), Chloe Null, Gus Null, Shiloh Null, Kaitlin Tapp, and John Houston Tapp.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Bill Tapp; a brother Marion Frederick; and sisters Marie Moore and Christine Harris.
Memorial Funeral Home are in charge of arrangements.
