Aberdeen— Angela Lynne Harris Fowler, 57, passed on Sunday, March 22, 2020. She is now safe in the arms of Jesus. Angela was born to the late Peggy Ann Harris on November 21, 1962 in Columbus, Mississippi.
Angela attended Caledonia schools until the tenth grade, when she had to take a break from her education to care for her grandfather. She went on to continue her work in caretaking for a nursing home in Columbus as a nurse’s aide for several years. Angela married the love of her life, Dannie Fowler, and together they were blessed with two children: Dannie Ray Fowler Jr. in 1990 and Danielle Lynne Fowler in 1992.
She spent most of her life as a homemaker for her family and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was not a materialistic person; a truly selfless mother and wife, she made sacrifices with what little she had in order to provide for her family. Angela will be remembered for her grace and love for her family. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, listening to Southern Gospel music, and mastering the Pac Man video game franchise, reading Junie B. Jones books, and loved Winnie the Pooh. Angela will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Angela is survived by her son, Danny Fowler (Susan), of Aberdeen; daughter, Danielle Fowler, Aberdeen; and grandchildren, Lynlee Diann and Jack David Fowler.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Harris; and husband, Dannie Fowler.
A private family gathering will be held at E.E. Pickle Funeral Home in Amory.
