Mr. Tommy Riddle, 78, passed away on March 23, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Tommy was born on August 22, 1941, in Tishomingo, the son of the late Roy Edward and Bessie King Riddle. Tommy worked as an automotive mechanic for 40 years. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed collecting antiques and restoring old cars. He loved all kinds of cars, especially drag and dirt racing. He loved anything related to cars. He was a member of the North East Mississippi Cruiser Car Club. He loved his family dearly. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was of the Baptist faith. He married Glenda Pruett Riddle on November 4, 1964, in Florence, Alabama. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Miller, a sister, Kathy Brown, and a brother, Edward Riddle.
Due to current health concerns, there will be a private family only service in the Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Towery officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Riddle: two daughters, Angie Riddle and Jaime Riddle: a granddaughter, Jesilyn White, all of West Point, and one sister, Pat Abramson of Florence, Alabama.
Pallbearers will be Bill Johnstone, Lonnie Brand, Heath Brand, Roby White, Randy Shaffer, and John Clemmons.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Donnie Hurst.
