Mr. Shoffer Daniel Karr, III died Friday, April 3, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle in Columbus, MS. A private family graveside service will be held in Tula Cemetery with Bishop Steve Davis officiating. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born to the late Shoffer Daniel Karr, Jr. and Maxine Delores Henderson Karr, Technical Sergeant Karr retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years and 7 months of service. His work was his life. He was devoted and proud of his family. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Karr, Jr.
Mr. Karr is survived by his wife, Pam Burson Karr of Columbus, MS; a daughter, Tabatha Michelle Karr of Columbus, MS; two sons, Raymond Matthew Karr, Sr. of Leakesville, MS and Jeremiah Thomas (Sherry) Karr of Nettleton, MS; a sister, Ruth Ann Prather of Tula, MS; a brother, Dennis Eugene Karr of Tula, MS; three grandchildren, Jenny Lynn Karr of Columbus, MS, Haley Renee Karr of Nettleton, MS and Daniel Christian Karr of Columbus, MS and his former wife, Geneva Eugenia Karr of Columbus, MS.
In honor of Mr. Karr’s service to our country the flag of the United Sates Air Force will be flown at Waller Funeral Home.
