Jamal Dewayne Macon

August 22, 1994 ~ April 10, 2020 (age 25)

Jamal Dewayne Macon was born on August 22, 1964 to Johnny Macon and Andrea Warlick in Tupelo, MS and was the last of four children.

Jamal was preceded in death by his brother Johntate Thompson. Jamal is survived by: his father Johnny Macon from Baldwyn, MS, his mother Andrea Warlick, his brother Jonathan Macon and Joshua Thompson, all of Jackson, Tennessee, a special aunt Brenda Starks, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, family and friends.

Jamal was a graduate of Baldwyn High School. He was a caring person and would offer to help to anyone. Jamal also loved learning about the Bible. He learned that Jehovah God has a wonderful hope for the future for all mankind. Jamal learned scriptures such as:

– Acts 24:15 "And I hope towards God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous."

-Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe away every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will be mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

Jamal's father Johnny Macon, along with may others, look forward to welcoming him back right here on earth under such peaceful conditions, when "no resident will say 'I am sick.'" (Isaiah 33:24)

Jamal's Mother, Andrea Warlick misses Jamal and loves him dearly. She wishes she had more time to talk with him again, although any amount of time would never be enough. Jamal will truly be missed but never be enough.  Jamal will truly be missed, but never forgotten.
