Barbara Morris Williams

Barbara Morris Williams, 75, passed this earthly life on Friday, June 12, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 24, 1944 in Bruce to the late parents of Frank Gilbert Morris and Mary Kathryn Weeks Morris.  Barbara met every one she came in contact with a smile and always had a listening ear to help.  She worked at North Mississippi Carpet and Rug until her health declined.  She was a member of Rocky Branch Baptist Church.  Barbara enjoyed cooking, gardening and especially her flowers.  She and her husband Wilbur enjoyed the times they could go out and eat at their favorite restaurants and chatting with friends who were there to eat also.

She was preceded in death by her late parents and a son, Bennie Williams.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 59 years, Wilbur Williams, Bruce; daughters, Donna (Bill) Floyd, New Albany, Rhonda (Paul) Nix, Bruce; sons, Dwayne Williams, Calhoun City, Michael  (Canzas) Williams, Bruce; brother, Bill (Ann) Morris, Bruce; grandchildren, B.G. Floyd, Will Floyd, Steven Kelly, Elijah Nix, Haley Williams, Skylar Williams, Call Williams, Wes Williams, great grandchildren, Seth Floyd, Marley Floyd, Daisy Floyd, Tyler Kelly, and  Cayson Michael Carter.

Visitation will be Monday, June 15, 2020 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home from 12:00P.M. until service time at 2:00P.M. A Funeral service Monday, June 15, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Craig McCormick officiating.  Burial will follow in Bruce Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be B.G. Floyd, Will Floyd, Elijah Nix, Steven Kelly, Call Williams and Wes Williams.
