Amanda Schrock

May 6, 1937 – June 22, 2020

Miss Amanda Schrock, 83, passed away on June 22, 2020 at West Point Community Living Center in West Point. Amanda was born on May 6, 1937 in Bay Minette, Alabama, the daughter of the late Abraham and Lydia Amstutz Schrock. She worked as a seamstress for Garan Garment Plant in Starkville for 30 years. She lived a very simple life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Fannie Schrock and Siloma Biehl and four brothers: Rudolph, Howard, Johnny, and Allen Schrock.

A private family service will be held at a later date. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Survivors include her five sisters: Lovina Maxwell (John) of Prairie, Barbara Abbott of Cabazon California, Dorothy Schrock of Cherry Valley, California, Josephine Gibson (Steven) of Toone, Tennessee, and Dena Whitford of Prairie and three brothers: Frank Schrock of Bismark, North Dakota, Joseph A. Schrock of Starkville, and Stephen Schrock (Marjorie) of Prairie.
