Mrs. Eleanor Julia Dyminski, 89, died Monday, January 25, 2021, at her home in Oxford. A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens in Lexington, KY.
Mrs. Dyminski was born on January 3, 1932 in Hungary to the late William and Ethel Heder. She was immensely proud of her Hungarian heritage and participated in providing artifacts and historical items to the Hungarian Settlement Museum in Hammond, LA. She was a devoted mother and enjoyed raising her son following her career as a high school teacher. Before moving to Oxford, Mrs. Dyminski lived in Lexington, KY where she was a member of Southland Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dyminski.
She is survived by her son, Walter Dyminski and his wife, LaChelle of Oxford, MS and three grandchildren, Spenser, Matthew and Thomas.
