Virgil Lee Tigrett

New Albany-Virgil Tigrett, 86, went to his heavenly home Friday, February 5, 2021, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born October 8, 1934, to Leo Tigrett and Irene Smith Tigrett. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Futorian Furniture after 35 years of employment. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
A service for Mr. Tigrett will be Monday, February 8, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Pleasant Ridge Baptist. A visitation will be from noon till the start of the service at 1:00. Rev. Rex Yancey will be officiating.
He is survived by one daughter, Vickie Cook, one son Tim Tigrett (Diane), Four grandchildren; Erin Algee, Candace Jarvis, Holly Cook, and Jonathan Tigrett, seven great grandchildren; Ava Algee, Lilliana Algee, Bryce Algee, Leigha Jarvis, Cason Tigrett, Eli Jarvis, and Hallie Tigrett.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Claudette Thomas Tigrett, and one son Craig Thomas Tigrett.
