Services to celebrate the life of Dorothy Capua, 77, will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday February 24th, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home with burial in the Farmington Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will begin Wednesday, February 24th, at 1:00 pm until service time at 3:00 pm. Masks and social distancing guide lines will be in place.
Dorothy died on Saturday February 13, 2021 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born in Corinth on August 1, 1943 to the late George and Mary Duncan King. She was a graduate of Alcorn Central High School and a member of Farmington Baptist Church. Professionally she did secretarial work and sold insurance. She loved to sing, paint, study the Bible, and to decorate and arrange flowers.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Deese; daughter, Dana Pittman (Scott); grandchildren, Lindsey Morphis (Trey), Jessie Pittman, Henrey Deese and Graham Deese; great-grandchildren, Keaton, Kendall, and Ella Morpis; sister, Norma Siddiqi; brother, Eugene King; and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lloyd, Elbert, Vernon, Willard and Bobby Dean King; and a sister, Laverne McEwin.
