It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Orlando Quartiz Gates "Pookie Love" of Aberdeen, MS on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 on Hwy 145 North at the age of 43.
He is survived by his wife, Jameca Gates, one son, Octavious Polk, two daughters, Alexis and Artashia Gates, his mother, Brenda Gates James, and his father, Willie Earl Gates, and three brothers, Christopher, Jeremy, and Jermaine Gates.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 12, 2021 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Belle Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen, MS.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Darden Chapel M.B. Church Parking Lot in Okolona, MS.
