Gene Ray Sappington (55) passed away Friday, March 19, 2021 at his home in Tishomingo. He was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Pentecostal. He enjoyed listening to music, reading the Bible and watching Westerns, especially Gunsmoke and Bonanza.
Graveside services are 1 pm Monday, March 22, 2021 at Paradise Cemetery with Bro. Bill Burcham officiating.
Gene is survived by his brother, Terry Yarbrough of Tishomingo; his sister, Judy Ivey of Tishomingo; his aunt, Helen Sappington of Decateur, IL and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Lucille Tribble Sappington; his brother, James Sappington and his sister, Karen Letson.
