West Point, MS – Paul Aubry Ray, 78, passed away on April 9, 2021 at Baptist Hospital in Columbus, MS. He was born October 27, 1942 in Eupora to Christine Burton Towery and Paul Edward Ray. Paul was a Certified Public Accountant for 40 years with Watkins, Ward and Stafford Firm and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Paul served his country in the United States Navy. He married Susan Diane Ray on November 20, 1979, Starkville, MS. She preceded His in death on March 29, 2006.
Paul enjoyed being outdoors, working on the gardens at his camphouse, hunting, fishing, and sitting in his favorite spot with a good cigar, watching the weather and talking with friends. He loved sunny days and cruising around with the top down, but also loved getting to see it snow, especially on visits to see his family in East Tennessee, where he enjoyed going to his favorite flea markets and riding around the countryside. Paul was also very proud of his annual Christmas light display. Most of all, he will always be remembered for his big heart, his generosity and his willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
