Larry Truman Stoop

December 2, 1933 ~ January 5, 2022 (age 88)

Larry Truman Stoop (88) passed away Wednesday January 5, 2022 at his home in Booneville. He enjoyed fishing, boating and just being on the water at Mills Creek. He was a United States Marine veteran. A time of visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday January 7, 2022 in the Booneville Chapel of Kesler Funeral Home.

He is survived by his son; Nick Stoop (Sherry) of Booneville, his daughter; Lisa Yates Rowell (Gary) of Pine Grove, his brother; Tommy Stoop (Carolyn) of Dalton,GA, his extended daughter-in-law; Cathy Stoop, his grandchildren; Christopher and Zachary Yates of Blackland, Stacie Yates of Pine Grove, Mary Yates of Tupelo, Toni and Genna Stoop (Tristyn) of Booneville, Sam Stoop of Oxford, Josh Spivey of Frankstown and Haley Spivey Pounds of Blackland, his great-grandchildren; William and Eric Yates, Roy (Leroy) Richardson, Clara Rae, Liddy Kate and Jax Pounds and Mason Spivey.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Sam & Edith Stoop, his sister; Louise Coker, his brother; Jimmy Stoop

  1. Dear Stoop family, I’m sorry for your loss and you have my deepest condolences. The loss of a loved one brings great pain and sorrow but you can gain comfort from God’s word the Bible. Acts 24:15 says “There is going to be a resurrection” so you can see your dear loved one again. A promise from our loving Heavenly Father. I hope this was a source of encouragement for the family.
