Palmetto-Parrish Lynn Ferguson Price, a wonderful soul, departed this life unexpectedly at her residence in the Palmetto Community of Lee County on Friday, November 11, 2022. She was 46.  Born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina on May 3, l976 to the late J.R. Ferguson and Linda Williams Ferguson, she grew up in Plantersville and attended school there.  She lived in Memphis for 10 years before returning to the Palmetto Community when she married her husband, Bobby Winkler “Wink” Briley on May 11, 2019.  Parrish enjoyed her role as a housewife and relished the time it allowed her to spend with her husband, children, siblings, grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She had a delightful, carefree personality and made friends easily. A volunteer fireman with the Palmetto Fire Department, where her husband is assistant chief, she relished being a part of fire service and serving her fellow citizens.  Tomboyish, she loved the outdoors including fishing area lakes and ponds, hunting and walks in the woods. Parrish loved children and always teased that she was her 24 nieces and nephews and 36 great nieces and nephews favorite Aunt. She will be missed by family and a great host of friends everywhere, especially in fire service.
