A Celebration of Life service for Carly Danielle Meeks Koehler, 38, is set for 2:00 pm Friday at Memorial Funeral Home with burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 and Friday from 1:00 to service time.

Carly died May 6, 2023. She was born January 19, 1985 in Corinth, MS to Billy Meeks and Kathy Moody. She was a 2003 graduate of Alcorn Central High School and worked as a dog groomer. She was very creative, enjoyed painting and fishing. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her boys.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Mark and Juanita Meeks; maternal grandfather, Foster Moody; and step-grandfather, Harold Floyd.

She is survived by her husband, Florian Koehler; sons, Lucas and Lennox Koehler; father, Billy Meeks (Lela “Shug”); mother, Kathy Moody (Tim Marlar); brother, Derek Meeks (Morgan); sisters, Denise Gray (William), Chasity Williams (Brandon) and Heather Hollins; step-brothers and sister, Zach Parson, Jason Parson and Amanda Parson; maternal grandmother, Charlene Floyd; nephew, Shawn Taylor Meeks; mother-in-law, Heidrun Fisher; father-in-law, Frank Koehler (Anja); and a host of other family and friends.
