Alfred Morris McGee Jr.

Bro. Alfred Morris McGee Jr., affectionately known as “Poo
Poo” by his family and as “Buff” to his friends, was born on January 12,
1975, to Shirley Fells and the late Alford Morris McGee Sr. The Lord
called him to his heavenly home March 30, 2023.
He professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined Trinity CME
Church in Guntown, MS. He later joined Shammah Church of God in
Christ in Tupelo, MS where he remained an active member until his
health failed. Alfred transferred his membership back to Trinity prior
to his death.
He was a 1994 graduate of Saltillo High School and a member of the
football team. He attended Itawamba Community College on a football
scholarship. In his younger years he was a model for Greystone’s Big
and Tall clothing. He loved fishing, watching sporting games, and being
with his children and family.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Shirley (Edward) Fells of
Shannon, MS; daughters: Alexandria McGee of Guntown, MS, Baylee
McGee and Avah McGee of Tupelo, MS; son, Alfred McGee III of
Tupelo, MS; bonus daughter, Alaisha Walker of Tupleo, MS; bonus
sisters: Delicia Fells, Brenda Cobb, Jennifer Fells, Kemetria Pack, and
Demetria Patterson; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Alford McGee Sr, sister
Sharinda McGee, grandparents Hoyle and Mencie Betts and Roger and
Margaret Robinson, and special great grandmother Alma McGee.
