Benny Clifton Cummings

Benny C. Cummings was born July 25, 1956 in Lee
County unto the late Clifton Cummings and Foriest
A. Cummings. He departed this life Thursday, March
16, 2023 at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo,
MS.
At an early age , he joined Sandhill M. B. Church
in Baldwyn, MS. He remained a member until his
passing. Benny was very much loved by his family
and friends and enjoyed spending time with his nieces
and nephews.
He worked several years with Baldwyn City Gas
and Water Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two
siblings, LouDenise Cummings and Frazier
Cummings.
He leaves to mourn his passing: five sisters, Apostle
Linda Faye (Bishop Marquette) Rogers, Dezzie
Wilson, Alfreda (Matthew) Gates, Katrina (Eddie)
Davis and Marvel (Terry) Tate: one brother, Wallace
Earl Cummings; a host of nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends.
