Dillon Austin Orr, 29, of Calhoun City, MS departed from this life on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at his home in Calhoun City, MS. He was born on July 23, 1993, in Grenada, MS to Danny Gene Orr and Mary Hyde Orr.
Dillon spent his time as a writer and a self published author. He loved his two children, Noah and Thorin and loved spending time with them and his wife, Melissa Orr. Dillon was a member of Derma Baptist Church.
He leaves behind his wife, Melissa Borcicky Orr of Calhoun City; father, Danny Orr of Bruce; mother, Mary Orr of Calhoun City; step-mother, Donna Orr of Bruce; two children: Thorin Orr and Noah Orr both of Calhoun City; two sisters: Jessica Orr of Calhoun City; Anna Orr of Calhoun City; grandmother, Annette Orr of Bruce.
Dillon is preceded in death by his grandfather, Harvey Orr; grandparents Pashie and Ravis Hyde.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 14, 2023, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce. The funeral service celebrating Dillon's life will take place on Saturday, July 15, 2023, at 10:30 AM in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce with Bro. Adam Borcicky and Bro. Roger Reeder officiating. Derrik Bogan, Ruben Cervantes, Brian Condit, Casey Griffin, Micheal Griffin, Tyler Kirby, and Justin Shook will serve as honorary pallbearers.
