David Alan Honeycutt
Baldwyn- David Alan Honeycutt, 68, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at the NMMC.
He was a salesman for BellSouth. David enjoyed cruising, carpentry, traveling, Southern Gospel Music and he was active with the bed ministry at Mt. Olive Baptist Church and sang in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church choir.
Funeral services will be at Waters Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at 6:00 p. m. with Dr. Chester Harrison officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Belinda Roberts Honeycutt of Baldwyn, MS; two sons, Seth Honeycutt (Liz) of Ecru, MS and Baden Honeycutt (Laura) of Fulton, MS; three step-sons, Luke Cockrell of New Albany, MS, Marc Cockrell of Milan, TN and Tim Cockrell (Val) of Baldwyn, MS; brother, Dennis Honeycutt of Pineville, KY; mother-in-law, Betty Roberts of Wheeler, MS; three sisters-in-law, Becky Wescoat (Charlie) of St. Louis, MO, Brenda Barron (Dean) of Clarksville, TN and Beverly Hickey (Kenneth) of New Albany, MS; (7) grandchildren, Arianna, Calvin, Tristen & Hezekiah Honeycutt of Ecru, Ella, Brody & Lillian Honeycutt of Fulton; six step-grandchildren, Levi Cockrell and Zoie White of New Albany, Triston Floyd of Georgia, Lou, Theo and Samson Cockrell of London, KY; host of nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Otis Honeycutt; his mother, Stella Ayers Honeycutt and his father-in-law, Billy Roberts.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Reeves, Jacob Cunningham, Robbie Kimbrough, Billy Roberts, Jim LaVigne, Andy Kimbrough, Jay Frederick and Chester Chism.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Tuesday from 3:00 – 6:00 P. M.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Bed Ministry.
