James J. Martin
Baldwyn- James J. Martin, Jr. age 61 died on September 1, 2023 at the North MS Medical Center in Tupelo after a brief illness. He was retired from Super Sagless Ind. and loved camping, fishing and hunting. He was a mechanic and he loved his family, friends and life in general. His pet dog Gizmo and a pet pig were very special to him.
Services will be Tuesday September 5, 2023 at 12:00 p. m. at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. David Boyd officiating. Burial will be in the Campbelltown cemetery.
Survivors include his mother Edna G Spencer of Saltillo; his father James Martin of Guntown; 2 sons, James R. Martin of Baldwyn and Scotty Wilkins of Tupelo; 2 brothers, Nick Martin of Tupelo and Bobby Martin of Guntown; a grandchild Tyler Bullock; 2 aunts Jane Petty and Brenda Kay Surratt.
He was preceded in death by his wife Penny Martin and 2 brothers Michael Martin and Mark Martin.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 am until service time at 12 noon.
