Jay Ellison Roellgen
Clinton, IN. – Jay Ellison Roellgen passed away Friday September 22, 2023 at Sanctuary Hospice House, in his spare time he spent his time with his friends and his family. Jay was born on June the 6, 1956 and graduated from Danville High School in 1974. He became a machinist and retired from Protool Inc. in 2022. He loved fishing and working with his hands building things. He gathered with his friends and brothers on Monday nights. He made yearly trips to Minster Ohio where he would celebrate Oktoberfest and visit with his aunts and uncles and numerous cousins. During holidays he would travel north to see his daughter.
Jay will be missed by all that knew him. He had a happy disposition and a quick smile. Considered by all to be a people person with the gift of gab.
Jay is survived by his father John Kay Roellgen and his mother Dorothy Rose Enneking Roellgen. His daughter Audrey Beth Roellgen (Jake Shank) grandchildren Landon, Sydney and Kynlee. Siblings Doug Roellgen, Kate Roellgen (Neil Dawson), Eric Roellgen(Gwen), Barabara Peterson (Mike), Karla Stone (Tim Yates), Lydia Spivey (Don). And many nieces and nephews.
