Cecil Boyce McCary
Las Vegas, NV-Cecil Boyce McCary was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. He left this world suddenly on October 21, 2023 at age 80, in Las Vegas, Nevada. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his strength in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Boyce came out a hero and stayed strong until the end. Even though a failing heart took him away from this world, his loving heart left a beacon of light for all he touched.
He was born to Cecil and Dorothy (Lindsey) McCary on July 31, 1943. In high school he married his sweetheart Martha Case and had three amazing children: Cecil Edward McCary, Andrea Elizabeth McCary, and Donna Louise Case. Boyce worked hard to put himself through college and provide for his family. Sorely they were too young when married and continued down separate paths.
Boyce met his true love, Kay Lambert McCary and married March 26, 1976. They had two wonderful children: Lindsey Gail Duran and John Casey McCary. He continued to work as entrepreneur and provide for his family along side of the one that made him whole. He always put family first. He did everything together with his wife and lived as one soul and always there when any of his children needed him.
He is predeceased by his father Cecil McCary and his mother Dorothy McCary, his sister Betty, and father-in-law John Thomas Lambert. He is survived by his wife Kay Lambert McCary, son Cecil “Eddie” Edward McCary, daughter Andrea Elizabeth McCary, daughter Donna Louise Case and her children: granddaughter Christal Los and husband Jeremy Los and great-grandchildren Avery and Riley Los, granddaughter Courtney Case and great-grandson Jessie, and son-in-law Charles “Chuck” Case, daughter Lindsey Duran and husband Jason Duran and their children: grandsons Jacob Cecil Duran and Nic Lawrence Duran, son John Casey McCary and his children: granddaughters Abigale McCary, Madison McCary, Emma McCary, and Kammi McCary, his sister Janice Ray and husband Ricky Ray, his sister-in-law Susan Gail Hitchcock and husband Richard Hitchcock, his mother-in-law Ruby Lambert, his little poodle Buster, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was “Boyce,” ”Bubba,” “Daddy,” “Paw,” “Partner,” and “Fat face”. He lived his life to the fullest and brought nothing but happiness and joy to all he touched. His constant faith gives us comfort that we will be together again.
