Susan Darlene Cooper, 70, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at The Meadows in Fulton after an extended illness. She was born February 14, 1953, in Griffin, Georgia, to William Q.D. Harris and Delitha Belvin Harris. She was a member of the Mantachie United Methodist Church. She was retired from Wal-Mart after 28 years of service. She enjoyed scrapbooking, embossing, and was very talented in all sorts of crafting. She enjoyed making specialty birthday cakes for her grandchildren every year. She enjoyed going on cruises, camping, riding motorcycles and traveling with her husband. They were also members of the Chapter N Eagle Wing Motorcycle Association (EWMA) in Tupelo.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 20, at the Mantachie United Methodist Church with Reverend Joe Coggins officiating. Burial will be in the Center Star Cemetery. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Ronny S. Cooper; two sons, Steve Cooper (Lisa) of Mantachie and Greg Cooper (Allison) of Amory; six grandchildren, Alice Cooper, Ashton Cooper (Hana Grace), Michaela Lyle (Chase), Greg Cooper, Kenzie Cooper, and Isaac Cooper; two great grandchildren, Elizabeth Lynne Lyle and Jaycee Caroline Cooper.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Harris; one sister, Deborah Frost; and her parents.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Mantachie United Methodist Church.
