New Site- Patsy Ann Pannell Williams, 73, passed away on January 07, 2024 at the NMMC Hospice Unit after an extended illness. Pat was a loving mother and devoted wife that always wanted to take care of family. She enjoyed spending time with family, and was very family oriented. She loved going to church and she loved the Lord. Pat was always active in church activities when she was able to attend. She loved her dog Rascal. She enjoyed bringing chicken and dumplings and fried pies to church functions. She was well known for her homemade apple pie. She was a devout Christian and had received two certificates for reading the Bible through. She always had something nice or good to say to people, would lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it and always stood up for family, right or wrong. She would give anyone the shirt off her back and she loved her husband like no other. Patsy had worked in the furniture mfg. as a seamstress and she was a member of Little Brown Creek Free Will Baptist Church for 33 years.

Funeral services will be held at Little Brown Creek Free Will Baptist Church on Wednesday, January 10, 2024

at 2:00 p. m. with Bro. Leonard Ball and Bro. Russell Clouse officiating. Burial will be in Little Brown Creek Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Waters Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Danny Williams; daughter, Rechelle “Shell” Wood; (3) sons, Rodney Williams (Lisa), Wesley Williams and Rusty Williams; (4) grandchildren, Chris Wood (Neecy), Kevin Mason, Bruce Williams (Courtney)and Lowell Thompson; many great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy “Jean” Brawner; (2) brothers, Gary Pannell, Jeffrey “Jeff” Pannell; host of other family, friends and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Dorothy Pannell; sister-in-law, Rhonda Pannell.

Visitation will be at the church on Wednesday from noon until service time at 2:00 p.m.
