Rusty Lee Card, 60, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born July 1, 1963, in McHenry, Illinois, to Charles L. and Annie Ruth Johnson Card. He was a handyman and a jack of all trades. He was a truck driver for Hardins Bread, Borden’s Ice Cream and Borden’s Milk Company, and MMC Concrete. He was a member of the Thorn Volunteer Fire Department for 14 years. He enjoyed working outdoors, building anything, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 21, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. Robert Humphres officiating. Burial will be in the Fawn Grove Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Toni Tucker (Nick), and Lakan Springer (Shun), both of Houston; one brother, Butch Card (Lisa) of Philadelphia; four grandchildren, Aniyah Springer, Nigel Springer, Mia Tucker, and Rialey Gage Tucker; several other family member and friends.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, David Card and Patrick Card; his parents; and his stepfather, O.T. George.
Visitation will be Sunday from noon until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
