Bonnie Sue Luther

June 12, 1937 – February 19, 2024

FULTON – Bonnie Sue Hutcheson Luther, 86, passed away Monday, February 19, 2024, at the Courtyards Community Living Center after an extended illness. She was born June 12, 1937, in Tishomingo County to Everett Eulas and Evalene Lillian Bailey Hutcheson. She worked a number of years for Charm Step/Genesco and operated Crossroads Cafe at Ryan's Well where she was known for her Bonnie burgers. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Bonnie was an excellent cook and enjoyed flowers, listening to music, and playing cards.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 22, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Ministers J.C. Enlow and Paul Eppler officiating. Burial will be in the Allen Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Charles Daniel Luther, of Fulton; one stepson, Daniel Wayne Luther, of Fulton; one stepdaughter, LaTonya Ann Luther of Saucier; one sister, Elaine Hutcheson Akins of Fulton; two brothers, Billy Wayne Hutcheson and Ricky Hutcheson (Linda), both of Ryan's Well; one grandson, Brian Harmon; and one great-grandson, Braxton Harmon (Jaelyn).

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Curtis Leland Hutcheson; her daughter, Sandra Kay Harmon; her son, Jerry Lee Hutcheson; three brothers, Roy, Troy, and Roger Hutcheson; and three sisters, Shirley Curtis, Mary Ruth Hutcheson, and Betty Jane Hutcheson.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Wayne Luther, Billy Luther, Tommy Chamblee, Brian Harmon, and Braxton Harmon.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, and from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Fulton.
