Jason C. Wray, 52, of Pontotoc, passed away June 10, 2024 at the NMMC in Tupelo. He was born on February 21, 1972, in Pontotoc to Bobby and Carolyn Wray. He was known for being hardworking, fun-loving, laid back, caring and very kind. His most recent and rewarding career was at Inframark in Tupelo, as a maintenance employee, where he found happiness, brotherhood and purpose. He enjoyed engaging in any outdoor activities that he and his best friend (nephew) Axel, could do with him. Jason graduated from Pontotoc City Schools in 1990 and had a successful career primarily in furniture manufacturing before finding fulfillment in his final role in maintenance.
He is survived by his four siblings; David Wray (Kim) of Tupelo, Robert Wray of Pontotoc, Kelly Wray Ferguson (Joey) of Clinton, MS and Shelly Wray of Pontotoc and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by, his parents, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
A memorial service with a visitation will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 5-7pm at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc.
Jason continues to give to others through him being an organ donor.
