Charles Frank (Charlie) Vanlandingham, 49, of Pittsboro, MS, passed away on June 29, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS after a brief illness .
Charlie traveled the roads as a Trucker hauling logs for most of his career and was recently employed by Jeff Robertson Logging. He was a graduate of Bruce High School Class of 1992 and an active member of Antioch Baptist Church. He was a Truck enthusiast especially Peterbilt Trucks, and he loved his precious first born grandbaby Carlee Jo.
Charlie is survived by his daughters: Savannah (Dustin) Vanlandingham of Sebastopol, MS; Dakota (Chris) Vanlandingham of Bruce, MS; Kristen Vanlandingham of Bruce, MS; a niece Kennedy Story of Water Valley, MS and his granddaughter: Carlee Jo Thornton of Bruce, MS.
Charlie is preceded in death by his parents: Richard and Helen Blackwelder Vanlandingham and a sister, Christi Story.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, MS.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce with Bro. Eric Payne officiating and burial to follow in Bruce Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Perry Bailey, Alan Blackwelder, Bobby Brown, Jr., Rob Langston, Scott Ledbetter, Michael Joe Lee, Brad Liles, Jeff Robertson, and Hank Thompson. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of his Truck Driving family.
