Travis Larue McCain Jr.66, of Randolph departed this world on July 16, 2024. Born on June 11, 1958, in Tylertown, MS, Travis Jr. leaves behind a legacy of hard work, dedication, and love.
Having grown up in Mississippi, Travis Jr. forged a successful career in the lumber industry, working diligently at McCain Woodyard and McCain Logging. His commitment and expertise were unmatched as he dedicated 24 years of his life to Ingram Barge Company in Paducah, KY.
Travis Jr. was a member of Cooke Memorial Baptist Church. Beyond his professional endeavors, Travis Jr. embraced life's simple pleasures. He cherished moments spent riding motorcycles, embarking on adventures to the Smokey Mountains and farther out west, and seeking excitement at the casino.
His memory will be forever treasured by his, sons Bobby Joe (Angie) McCain of Hatley and Colee McCain of Saltilo, grandchildren Eli, Cash, Curtis Loew, and Easley McCain, as well as his brother Billy Joe (Shelia) McCain of Randolph and sister Pattie (Bert) Carter of Nettleton. Their lives are forever touched by his presence and the love he shared.
A public viewing to celebrate Travis Jr.’s life will be held at Parker Memorial Funeral Home on July 18, 2024, at 5:00 pm, with a funeral service following at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel on July 19, 2024, at 10:30 am. As we gather to honor his memory, we reflect on the impact he made and the joy he brought to those around him.
Travis was preceded in death by his parents, Travis McCain Sr. and Nancy Louise Bullard McCain.
