Janie Francis Barnett
Baldwyn- Janie Francis Barnett, 82, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at the NMMC. She was born on July 14, 1942 in Hazelhurst, MS. to Johnnie & B.F. Purser. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Baldwyn where she enjoyed serving in the choir.
Funeral services will be at Waters Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 1:00 p. m. with Bro. Neil Davis officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughters, Melissa Barnett and Paula Ann Barnett; grandsons, Connor Barnett Flaherty (Montana) and Collin Rials Flaherty (Abi); twin great-granddaughters, Layla Rae Flaherty and Lyla Barnett Flaherty; host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, James Roger Barnett; son-in-law, Todd Flaherty; her parents.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 11:00 p.m. until service time @ 1:00 p. m.
