Dora Lee Thrasher
Guntown – Dora Lee Thrasher, 84, passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at the NMMC Hospice Unit. She enjoyed watching westerns, coloring, reading her Bible and going to church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God.
Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Saturday, September 14, 2024 @ 2:00 p. m. with Bro. Merle Floyd and Bro. Terrence and Sister Tanya Sutterfield. Burial will be in Campbelltown Cemetery.
She is survived by her children, Judy Brown (Rickey), Mitzy Farley (Doug) and Charlie Thrasher (Trish); grandchildren, Aundrea Foley (Daniel), Derrick Brown, Anthony Fultz (Jacque), Steven Thrasher (Emily), LeAnn Stephens (Cody), Halei Thrasher (Jacob Abbott) and Jason Ford (Amber); great-grandchildren, Maci Manley, Gavin Foley. Olivia Foley, Chesley Brown, Hayden Fultz, Brantley Fultz, Abby Thrasher, Aiden Thrasher, Rylee Abbott, Ellie Ford
and another one on the way; sisters, Susan Lewis and Ann Bonds; sister-in-law, Janie Pettigo; host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jessie Pettigo; husband, Wilburn Thrasher; brothers, Virt Pettigo, Billy Pettigo and Tommy Floyd; sisters, Clara Baswell, Hattie Thrasher, Ruth Floyd and Ruby Malone.
Pallbearers will be Kennith Thrasher, Jerry Thrasher, Rickey Floyd, Mike Pettigo, Anthony Fultz, Steven Thrasher and Gavin Foley.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home, Friday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
