MOOREVILLE- Jimmy Carl King, 57, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born May 8, 1967, to JC and Mary Carruthers King. He was in the furniture business for many years, where he owned and operated Style & Comfort Manufacturing and was owner of Gadgets Retail store in the VF Mall. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed playing online video games where he had many friends as far as the UK. He loved working outside on his tractor, in the yard, and with his swimming pool.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 19, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with Reverend Charlie Harper officiating. Burial will be in the Andrews Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Angela King; one son, Brantley King (Heather), both of Mooreville; his stepmother, Wanda King of Tupelo; two stepsisters, Charlotte Ellis (Jerry) of Shannon and Denise Adams (Larry) of Mantachie; several nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins, and other family members.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Cherry Ray; his father and mother, JC and Mary Carruthers King; and his grandparents.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Benson, Eric Benson, Ryan Benson, Will Franke, Leslie Bryant, Torry Tucker, Mason McGhee, and Brandon Fulghum.
Visitation will be Saturday from noon until service time at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
