Eric Neal Hedrich

Mr. Eric Neal Hedrich, 63, died Thursday, October 24, 2024, at his home in Holly Springs, MS. The memorial service will be Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 4:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Wilson officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 2:00 P.M. in West Hall of Waller Funeral Home.

Eric was born on September 11, 1961, in Jacksonville, Florida, to the late Dolores Bolton and Emil Hedrich. He was a former employee of Smith & Nephew, traveling all over the world doing work in manufacturing as a CAD/CAM specialist engineer. Eric was a passionate and active gardener, cultivating various fruit and nut trees that he cared for diligently. A natural outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and raising turkeys on his farm. Eric was a devoted Christian with a strong and unwavering faith in God. He was always laughing and always trying to get others to laugh with him, showing his affection through loving teasing and joking. His fun-loving, lively spirit and humor will be deeply missed by all those who cherished him most.

Eric is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Evonne Denise Detwiler Hedrich of Holly Springs, MS; daughters, Jennifer Smith and her husband, Derrick, of Baltimore, MD and Aubreigh Hedrich of Denver, CO; brothers, Alan Hedrich of Hutchinson, KS, Glen Hedrich (Kathy) of Wichita, KS, and John Hedrich (Paula) of La Porte, IN; and his three grandchildren, Retta, Madyn, and Arden.
