Marietta -Eva Marie Adams McGee, age 79 died Friday December 13, 2024 at the Tupelo Nursing and Rehab after a long illness. She was a Baptist, enjoyed music, singing gospel songs and going to church. She was a people person and in her early years she was the life of the party.
Services will be Sunday at 2 pm at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Livingston officiating. Burial will be in the Siloam Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Patsy Powers & Forrest of Corinth; son, Jamie McGee of Corinth; sister, Violet Caviness of Baldwyn; 5 brothers, J.T. Adams of Dennis, Dawsy Adams & Janet of Marietta, James D. Adams & Sue of Newport, TN, Danny Adams & Sharon of Saltillo and Gregory Adams of Baldwyn; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David T. & Amy G. Wroten Adams; her husband, Paul McGee; 3 sisters, Eula M. Pounds, Reba Urban and Annie Lee Slaughter; 2 brothers; Billy Joe Adams and Bobby R. Adams; sister-in-law, Peggy Adams; 3 brother-in law, Herschel Pounds, Emil Urban and Bill Slaughter.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Sunday from noon until 2:00 p. m.
