Fred Edward Bullock 82, went home to be with his Lord, on December 24, 2024 after an extended illness. He enjoyed traveling, camping and fishing. He worked with cattle, sold life insurance and he retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 27 years of service. Fred was a member of Dumas Community Church.
Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 1:00 p. m. with Bro. Toby Mears officiating. Burial will be in Box Chapel Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Martha Benjamin Bullock of Dumas; daughter, Pam Carter (Tony) of Saltillo; son, Zonny Bullock (Natalie) of Saltillo; sister, Laura Ray (Larry) of Wheeler; brother, Lannia Bullock (Brenda) of Mt. Zion; grandchildren, Bryan Carter, Nikki Minor (Cody) and Maggie Bullock; great-grandchildren, Becca Minor and Mitchell Minor; several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred O. and Ilah Mae Hughey Bullock.
Pallbearers will be Max Bullock, Bryan Carter, Tim Carter, Jesse Hall, Cayden Hall, Gavin Hall, Brent Bullock and Jalon Bullock.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Minor, Larry Ray, Jerry Crawford and Community Hospice Caregivers.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Saturday from 10:00 – 1:00 p.m.
