Ed Kelly

Ed Kelly, age 59, passed away on March 26, 2025 in Pontotoc, MS.  He was born December 8, 1965 to the late Frank Kelly and Glenda Sue Griffin.  Ed was a member of Church of God of Prophecy in Houlka, MS.  Ed graduated from Drew Central High School in 1983.  He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Agribusiness from the University of Arkansas at Monticello.  Throughout his career he had a true passion for sales.  The majority of his life was spent in the Memphis area where he sold thousands of vehicles.  Most recently, he was a dedicated employee of Barnes Crossing Chevrolet in New Albany, MS.  Outside of work, Ed loved to spend time with his family and frequently studied his bible each day as he continued his walk with the Lord.  Ed's work ethic, optimism and jovial attitude brightened the lives of everyone he encountered.

Ed is survived by his son, Evan Kelly (Olivia) and his first grandson, Emmett; a daughter, Tess Kelly all of Nashville, TN; two sisters, Gina Richard (Terry Don) of Warren, AR and Johnna Sue McMurry (Sam) of Banks, AR; and many nieces and nephews.  Other survivors are Cathy and Reed Morphis of Pontotoc, MS.

A Memorial Service will be held at Church of God of Prophecy in Houlka, MS on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at 11:00AM.  A graveside service will also be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at 11:00AM at the Palestine Church in Johnsville, AR.  Family will meet at 147 Bradley 370, Warren, AR after the service.
