Helen Sue Glenn Scott
Booneville- Helen Sue Glenn “Mamaw Helen” Scott, 90 went to meet her beloved Savior on April 27, 2025. She loved going to church, when she was able, getting visits from her family and friends, watching basketball on tv, sitting on her porch watching the little ones play and cooking. She baby sat over a span of 25-30 years and was “Mamaw” to all.
Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 @11:00 a. m. with her grandson-in-law, Bro. Henry Kennedy and her grandson, Bro. Dale Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Prentiss Memorial Gardens.
She is survived by her daughter, Betty Glenn; son, Kenneth Scott (Vicki) all of Booneville; sister, Elizabeth Johnson; three brothers, Johnny Glenn (Peggy), Roger Glenn and Don Glenn (Shelly) all of Baldwyn; son-in-laws, Jimmy Henderson and Johnny Morgan; sister-in-laws, Sue Bailey and Ann Scott; seven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death her parents, Marvin and Zelma DeVaughn Glenn; her husband, Junior Scott; two daughters, Brenda Morgan and Diane Henderson; son-in-law, Russell Glenn; brother, Bobby Glenn; brother and sister-in-law, Freddy and Elaine Scott; brother-in-laws, David Johnson, Terry Scott, George Bailey and a sister-in-law, Reba Shook.
Pallbearers will be her grandson, Stewart, Easton and Camden Morgan, Jason and Shane Scott, Jett Owens and Caleb Henderson.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
