Louis William Boyle Sr. passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving children on June 10, 2025. He was born on June 6, 1949, to William Vance Boyle and Salima Faye Boyle in Yazoo City, MS. He spent his childhood growing up in the Airmount Community in Yalobusha County.
Louis served in the Army and was in the Vietnam war until being honorably discharged in 1968. While in service, Louis was the recipient of several honors including the Purple Heart and 1 Bronze Star.
He had a love for traveling. In his younger years, Louis enjoyed working as a tower constructer which allowed him to travel all over the U.S. He was also a professional when it came to carpentry work and in his lifetime built many things. A love of hunting had him known to his fellow hunters by the name ".22." He was an active member of New Hope Church of Coffeeville, MS and loved our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Louis is survived by his four children Carol Boyle Lowery (Jerry) of Diberville, MS, Louis Boyle Jr. (Tina) of Villa Rica, GA, Quinton Boyle of Coffeeville, MS, and Adam Boyle (Candy) of Water Valley, MS.
14 Grandchildren, David Evans (Becky), Aaron Evans, Devin Evans, Dalton Lowery, Samantha Lowery, Deidra Becerra (Robert), Damon Boyle (Syndra), Cecil Wilson (Haley), Austin Boyle (Stephanie), Montana Marshall (John), Audrey Boyle, Kara Boyle, Carson Boyle, and Case Boyle.
14 Great Grandchildren, Ivy Evans, Ayla Evans, Krue Barron, Kensleigh Crane, Emery Gandy, Emerson Gandy, Grant Wilson, Uriah Becerra, Ezekial Becerra, Oaklynn Boyle, Talia Becerra, Collins Wilson, Lynlee Tutor, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, MS on June 13, 2025, with Visitation from 11:00AM-2:00PM and Funeral to follow at 2:00PM. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery in Coffeeville, MS.
Pallbearers will be Austin Boyle, Aaron Evans, David Evans, Devin Evans, Brent Turner and Michael Huffman. Honorary Pallbearers are Carson Boyle, Case Boyle, Justin Ayers, Chappell Waldo, Billy Earl Turner, Ray Schmitz Jr., Billy Redwine, Joseph Lester and Tyler Lester.
Louis is preceded in death by his father William Vance Boyle, mother Salima Faye Boyle, brother Otis Boyle, and Eddie Pell, sisters Barbara Turner, Doris Emhovick, Mary Costilow, Dot Weeks, Shonnett Alexander, daughter in law Shellaine Boyle.
