Kirkville- Randle Guin, age 70 died at the Gilmore Hospital in Amory after an extended illness. He was a retired employee of WestRock with over 48 years of service. He loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He was an outdoors person, loved to work and spend time on his farm and with his cows. Randle was a member of the Gilmore Chapel church and was close with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Services will be Monday at 3 pm at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Douglas Kitchens and Bro. Ray Guin officiating. Burial will be in the Kirkville cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of over 52 years Teresa K. Guin of Kirkville; 1 daughter, Shanna Counsil & Larss of Georgia, a daughter born from a heart, Kylie Patterson of Starkville, 2 sons, Shawn Guin & Kimberly of Kirkville and Matt Guin & Brandi of Marietta, a sister, Debbie Cowart of Marietta, 6 grandchildren, Skyler Guin, Isabella Counsil, Madeline Counsil, Baker Guin, and 2 recent additions, Briar and Leah Graham.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Prentiss Wayne & Marie Peoples Guin, a brother, Glen Guin.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Barnes, David Hood, Tim Hood, Jr. Terry, Jimmy Stevens, Mike Morris and Tommy Kilgo.
Honorary pallbearers will be Henry Jenkins, Billy Jet, Ronnie Rollins, James Edwards and Albert Copeland.
Visitation will be Monday from 1 pm until service time at 3 pm.
