Bruce, a man of boundless generosity and a heart of gold, will leave behind a legacy of love, laughter, and selflessness. Bruce was a man who would help anyone, often putting the needs of others before his own. He was a beacon of support for his family, a role he embraced with unwavering love. His dedication was constant, and his wife, whom he met at the tender age of 14, was the unwavering center of his universe. Their lifelong partnership was a testament to his loyalty and commitment.
Bruce had a gentle and loving side and a soft spot for animals. He was also a man of humor, known for his classic dad jokes that could bring a smile to anyone’s face.
Recently, Bruce and Lori found themselves on a trip in the Tennessee mountains- a memory now that feels priceless. He was a kind, funny, and gentle soul who will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Bruce was known for his incredible work ethic, which was second to none. His colleagues were more than just a “work family”; they were a true community, and Bruce was the glue that held it together. He was a mentor to his kids and coworkers alike. A self-taught man of many trades, he loved to teach and share his vast knowledge of all things.
Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Youngs; his mother, Bonnie Jean Cole; brother, Donald Heck; and sister, Carlene Youngs.
