Garry Buse
Guntown- Garry Buse, 64 passed away at the NMMC on Wednesday, September 03, 2025. He enjoyed fishing, watching Ole Miss and San Francisco 49er’s football. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and spending time with the friends he had served with. Garry was a Baptist and proudly served his country through law enforcement and Mississippi Army National Guard.
Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Friday, September 05, 2025 at 2:00 p. m. with Bro. Chris Holder officiating. Burial will be in Campbelltown Cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, Blake Buse (Megan) of Blue Springs and Mac McBrayer of Starkville; sisters, Melissa Buse of Guntown, Vickie West of Aberdeen and Loretta Buse of Indiana; brothers, Bobby Pannell (Gina) of Chattanooga, TN and Terry Buse Sr. (Norma) of Guntown; grandchildren, Kyleigh Buse, Asher Buse, Jett Buse, Logan McBrayer and Hudson Buse is on the way; special nephews, Robie Buse and Terry Buse II; host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. Buse and JoAnn Raines Martin; daughter, Jodi Buse; sons, Jonathan Phillip Buse and Landon Sanders; brother, Robert “Dean” Buse.
Pallbearers will be Steve Floyd, Keith Hathcock, Shane Young, Michael Clark, Eddie Green and Jerry Peaks.
Honorary pallbearers will be friends he served with through the Lee County Sheriff’s Dept., Saltillo Police Dept., Baldwyn Police Dept. and Guntown Police Dept.
Visitation will be Thursday evening at Waters Funeral Home from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
