Saltillo- Charles Ozie Brazeal, age 91 died Friday October 3, 2025 at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo after a brief illness. Charles loved country music at the Lindseys & the Alpine music barns when he was able to attend. He loved building things. He built 5 news houses during his life. He enjoyed playing billiards, traveling and was a member of the Mayfield Church of Christ.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 am at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Dylan Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in the Eggville cemetery.

Survivors include a daughter, Sylvia Epting & Gerry of Jericho, 2 sons, Ricky Brazeal & Pam of Peppertown and David Brazeal & Diane of Guntown, a step-son, Tony Brigman of Baldwyn, 2 sisters, Shirley Mace of Tupelo and Sara Christian & Jimmy of Mantachie, 9 grandchildren, Sonya Johnson, Tonya Hendrix & Kevin, Dena Buse & Kevin, Kristy Tucker & Brad, Jeremy Epting & Anna, Lori Cox & Robert, Drew Epting & Haylie, Nikki Sanchez & Ale and Stephanie Penniger & James, Special friend, Brenda Carter, 19 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren, also a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Hendrix, Kevin Buse, Brad Tucker, Robert Cox, Jeremy Epting, Benny Harris, Nathan Christian and Mitchell Brazeal.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Cortez & Ollie Buchanan Brazeal, his first wife, Faye Niblett, second wife, Merle Mays, son, Phillip Brazeal, step-son, Charlie Brigman, sisters, Mary Harris and Betty Wallis Waters and a brother, Lawrence Aaron Brazeal.

Visitation will be Monday evening from 5 pm until 8 pm.
