Emma Floyd

Ellistown- Emma Jean Floyd, 81, passed away at her home on Saturday, November 15, 2025. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending the day gardening, fishing, doing word puzzles and spending time with her family. She was of the Assembly of God faith.

Funeral services will be at Waters Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 2:00 p. m. with Bro. Johnny Ethridge and Bro. Scotty Floyd officiating. Burial will be in the Ellistown Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Carl Floyd of Ellistown; one daughter, Debbie Floyd Emerick and Jack of Ellistown, one son, Doug Floyd and Lynn of Jericho; (9) grandchildren, Jamie Young (Amber), Jon Wildmon (Trixie), Steve Wildmon (Amber), Brittany Roberts (Jon), Tiffany Wildmon, Matthew Young, Danyelle Floyd, Bryanna Courtney (James), Kacie Allen (Trey), 32 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren also a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fletcher and Bessie Bridges Shockley, 4 sisters, 5 brothers, 2 greatgrandchild Austin Wildmon, Preston Wildmon, one great greatgrandchild Layla Kate Applegate.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Young, Jeremy Robertson, Jon Wildmon, Trey Allen, Joe Shockley, Peyton Wildmon, Scott Floyd, J.R. Floyd and Gracie Young.

Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m
