Sue Ann Garrett

Tuscumbia- Sue Ann Garrett, age 83, passed away Saturday January 17, 2026. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker and hairdresser. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, gardening flowers, cooking, traveling and attending the senior citizens center.

Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Tuesday January 20, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Dwight Wilson and Bro. Hollis Retherford officiating. Burial will be in Kirkville Cemetery. 

She is survived her sister W.Dean Gann of Kirkville, four brothers Dewayne (slim) Lindsey (Linda) of New Site, Holis (shorty) Lindsey of Fulton, Larry A Lindsey of Kirkville, and L.M (Jo) Lindsey (Cheryl) of Kirkville, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and special friend Buford Mansell and special friend/caregiver Judice Retherford.

She is Preceded in death by her parents Toxie L Taylor and Relmon Lindsey. Husband Evertt Garrett (Lefty), 2 nieces Lisa Marie Lindsey, Christy Lindsey Mitchell and 2 nephews William Lindsey and Jeffery Lindsey.

Pallbearers will be Joey Lindsey, Holis Lindsey II, Brian Lindsey, Eric Minor, Hunter Lindsey and Josh Bailey.

Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home Tuesday January 20, 2026 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m.
