Bobby Robinson

Marietta- Bobby Robinson, 87, passed away at the NMMC on Saturday, January 31, 2026.

He enjoyed hunting rocks and he was a member of the Marietta Springs Community Church. He never met a stranger and always raised the first tomato in the spring and the last in the fall and gave many away. He took care of the blessing box at his church where he was a trustee. He helped everyone in the community, he loved conversation and he had great knowledge of farm and construction equipment. Bobby retired from Case I H. Equipment of Tupelo.

Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Wednesday February 4, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Rod Taylor officiating. Burial will be in East Prentiss Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years Gayle Robinson of Marietta, one daughter Kelly Robinson of Marietta , 2 sons Allen Robinson (Elaine) of Marietta and Mitchell Robinson (Patricia) of Mantachie, 1 sister Patsey Hayden of New Site, 3 Grandchildren Daniel Robinson, Melanie George & Thomas, Candy Robinson and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman & Bonnie Gatlin Robinson, 4 sisters and 5 brothers.

Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Wednesday February 4, 2026 from 12:00 until service time @ 2:00 p.m.
